NEW YORK — Italian sportswear brand Fila has tapped DeVries Global to lead a renewed push to bolster brand awareness in the US.

As Fila’s North America communications agency of record, DeVries will handle all aspects of PR including brand communications strategy and messaging, national earned media relations and executive visibility. Support will cover new brand campaigns and ongoing storytelling and activations.

DeVries won Fila’s business in a competitive review. Previously, Fila’s US business was handled by a number of agencies including Havas Sports & Entertainment.
