LOS ANGELES — Self-driving automotive company Cruise has named Nick Mulholland as its chief communications & marketing officer. He brings deep auto, tech and electric vehicle experience to his role at Cruise. Most recently, Mulholland (pictured) led Rivian’s global communications team including brand marketing, corporate and sustainability communications. In addition,  Beth Ladd is joining Cruise as senior director for internal communications. She joins from Instacart, where she served as senior director, employee communications and employer brand.

BOSTON — Jane Carpenter has joined SharkNinja as the company’s first CCO. Carpenter will lead the corporate communications team and priorities including CEO communications, business and financial media, corporate social media, internal communications, employee events, and issue/crisis management globally.  Carpenter most recently led communications at Veho, a start-up in retail logistics. Prior to Veho, she led global communications for Wayfair from 2012 to 2023.

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA — Mark Klein has been named chief communications and marketing officer for El Camino Health. In his role as CCMO, Klein will oversee the strategic direction of El Camino Health’s marketing, communications, and brand strategy. Klein most recently led comms for CommonSpirit Health.

LAS VEGAS — Orthofix has appointed Julie Dewey as its new chief investor relations and communications officer. Dewey previously held corporate officer roles at multiple global publicly traded medical device companies. She most recently was chief communications and investor relations officer for Treace Medical Concepts.
